Removing the microSD card while the phone is on
If you need to remove the microSD card while the phone is on, unmount the microSD card first
to prevent corrupting or damaging the files in the microSD card.
1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings. Or press Menu > Settings.
2. Tap Storage >Unmount SD card >OK.
3. Remove the microSD card by following the steps in “SD card safe to remove”.

1. Press and hold Power/Lock.
NOTE The first time you use your phone you’ll need to set it up. See the Getting Started chapter for details.
Activate Your Phone
Create Your Account and Pick Your Plan
1. From your computer, visit virginmobileusa.com and click on Activate.
2. Choose an activation option and click Next. Then enter your zip code and click Next.
3. When prompted, enter the serial number (MEID) printed on the sticker located on the back of
your phone in the battery compartment.
4. Follow the remaining instructions to choose your plan and select a payment method.
5. You must follow the activation instructions below after creating your account in order to be able
to start using your phone.
Activate your device
1. Turn your device on.
2. At the home screen, tap Activate to start the activation process.
3. Follow the activation wizard until your device completes the activation process and restarts.
4. The Activate icon will be removed once the device has been activated.
