Settings, 6. Security.
. Enter the four-digit lock code, then press the OK Key. The default lock code is the
last 4 digits of your mobile number.
. Press 1. Lock Mode.
. Select one of the following settings, then press the OK Key.
• Lock Now: Phone is locked.
• Unlocked: Phone is unlocked.
• On Power Up: Phone will lock when it is turned on.
EDIT CODE
To set a new lock code:
. From idle mode, press the OK Key to unlock the keypad, press the Left Soft Key
[Menu], swivel to the QWERTY keypad and press 7. Settings, 3. Phone
Settings, 6. Security.
. Enter the four-digit lock code, then press the OK Key.
. Press 2. Edit Code.
. Enter the new four-digit code in the New Code field. Enter the new four-digit
code again in the Confirm Code field to confirm your input.
. Press the OK Key.
RESET PHONE
To reset all settings to their initial defaults:
. From idle mode, press the OK Key to unlock the keypad, press the Left Soft Key
