5.2 Mechanical Implementation
In order to deploy the RM-WIF-AC-2X2-HP-XX Radio Module in environments that
will experience temperatures above 75 °C ambient, PCTEL requires that a properly
sized thermal pad be installed between the bottom of the radio module and the
host PCB. The thermal pad should cover most of the bottom of the Radio Module
and be of appropriate thickness to ll in the gap between the Radio Module PCB
and the host PCB as shown in Figure 4 and Figure 5 below.
