6. Maintenance
Warning!
Remove test leads before changing battery or fuse or
performing any servicing.
6.1. Battery replacement
Power is supplied by a 9 V "transistor" battery (NEDA 1604). The
" " appears on the display, when replacement is needed. To
replace the battery, remove the 2 screws from the back of the meter
and lift off the battery case. Remove the battery from battery
contacts.
6.2. Fuse replacement
The LCD displays the symbol "FUSE" and an audible beep will
sound. Replace fuse only with the original type 100 mA/250 V, fast
acting fuse.
6.3. Cleaning
Periodically wipe the case with a damp cloth and detergent, do not
use abrasives or solvents.
