Additional advice to isolating transformer
The PeakTech
®
2235 is developed and manufactured in protection class I
(hereinafter known as PC I).
Equipment belonging to the PC I must carry on the input side a protection
earth conductor (PE). Even equipment that have a PE only for radio
interference elimination, such as some switching power devices, it is
automatically classified as PC I.
Special cases are PC-I devices that have the output of a type of protection
class II.
Here, the PE is omitted, but then it is necessary to output to a reinforced
insulation which exceeds the basic insulation to be respected.
