4.9. Level Measurement (dB)

Note:

Always start with the highest measuring range.

1.) Choose with the rotary switch the corresponding

measuring range like described in the table below.

2.) Connect the black test lead to the "COM" jack and the red

test lead to the "V /  / mA" socket.

3.) Connect the test leads of the instrument parallel to the

circuit to be measured and read the measured value from

the analog display.

Note:

In 10V range you can read the dB-value directly in the dB-scale. In

all other ranges, you have to add the listed dB-value to the

measured value. (Refer to the table above)
