Sicherheitshinweise Dieses Gerät erfüllt die EU-Bestimmungen 2004/108/EG (elektromagnetische Kompatibilität) und 2006/95/EG (Niederspannung) entsprechend der Festlegung im Nachtrag 2004/22/EG (CE-Zeichen). Falls nicht zweifelsfrei ausgeschlossen werden kann, dass diese Spannungsspitzen durch den Einfluss von transienten Störungen oder aus anderen Gründen überschritten werden muss die Messspannung entsprechend (10:1) vorgedämpft werden. Nehmen Sie das Gerät nie in Betrieb, wenn es nicht völlig geschlossen ist. Defekte Sicherungen nur mit einer dem Originalwert entsprechenden Sicherung ersetzen.

Vor Aufnahme des Messbetriebes sollte das Gerät auf die Umgebungstemperatur stabilisiert sein (wichtig beim Transport von kalten in warme Räume und umgekehrt) Überschreiten Sie bei keiner Messung den eingestellten Messbereich. Sie vermeiden so Beschädigungen des Gerätes. Drehen Sie während einer Strom- oder Spannungsmessung niemals am Messbereichswahlschalter, da hierdurch das Gerät beschädigt wird.
Reinigung des Gerätes Gerät nur mit einem feuchten, fusselfreien Tuch reinigen. Nur handelsübliche Spülmittel verwenden. Beim Reinigen unbedingt darauf achten, dass keine Flüssigkeit in das Innere des Gerätes gelangt. Dies könnte zu einem Kurzschluss und zur Zerstörung des Gerätes führen. 1.

5. Bedienung 5.1. Vorbereitungen zum Messbetrieb 1. Prüfen Sie vor der Messung die Batterien, indem Sie das Gerät einschalten. Ist die Batterie schwach, erscheint " BAT" rechts im Display. Die Batterie muss ausgetauscht werden, hierzu siehe Abschnitt 6 "Wartung". 2. Das Warndreieck neben den Eingangsbuchsen soll Sie warnen, dass Messspannung oder Messstrom zum Schutz der internen Schaltung nicht den angegebenen Wert übersteigen dürfen. 3.
ACHTUNG! 1. Wird nur die Ziffer "OL" angezeigt, ist der Messwert größer als der Bereich und der Funktionswahlschalter muss auf einen höheren Bereich gestellt werden. 2. Vorsicht! Legen Sie nicht mehr als 600 V an den Eingang. Eine Anzeige bei höherer Spannung ist möglich, jedoch kann das Instrument dabei zerstört werden. 3. Gehen Sie äußerst vorsichtig vor beim Messen hoher Spannungen, um Berührungen mit Hochspannung zu vermeiden. 5.3. Wechselspannungsmessungen AC V 1.
5.4. Gleichstrommessungen DC A 1. Funktionswahlschalter in Stellung „µA/mA“ drehen 2. Drücken Sie die MODE - Taste um auf die Messfunktion umzuschalten. „DC“ – 3. Prüfleitungen in Reihe zur Messschaltung anschließen und Messwert in der LCD-Anzeige ablesen. ACHTUNG! 1. Ist der zu messende Stromwert unbekannt, beginnen Sie mit dem höchsten Bereich und schalten dann jeweils auf einen niedrigeren Bereich zurück. 2.

5.7. Durchgangsprüffunktion Achtung! Unter keinen Umständen Durchgangsprüfungen an spannungsführenden Bauteilen oder Schaltungen durchführen. 1. Funktionswahlschalter in Stellung Ω / /°))) drehen. 2. ACHTUNG! 1. Diodenprüfungen vornehmen. nur an spannungslosen Bauteilen 2. Wenn der Eingang nicht angeschlossen ist, d. h. bei offenem Stromkreis, wird "OL" angezeigt für Überlauf. 3. Durch das zu prüfende Bauteil fließt ein Strom von 1 mA. 4. Die Anzeige zeigt den Durchlass-Spannungsabfall in mV und Überlauf, wenn die Diode in Sperrrichtung geschaltet ist. 5.9. Maximalwerthaltefunktion (MAX-HOLD) Um den maximalen Messwert in der LCD-Anzeige einzufrieren, wie beschrieben verfahren: 1.
5.11. HOLD - Taste Die Messwerthaltefunktion erlaubt es Ihnen einen Messwert in der LCD-Anzeige, für spätere Auswertungen, einzufrieren. 1. Drücken Sie die „HOLD“ - Taste um den momentan gemessenen Wert einzufrieren. Das HOLD - Symbol wird in der LCD-Anzeige angezeigt. 2. Drücken Sie die „HOLD“ - Taste erneut, um in den normalen Messbetrieb zurückzukehren. 6. Wartung Vor dem Austauschen von Batterie oder Sicherung immer alle Prüfleitungen vom Gerät entfernen und Gerät ausschalten. 6.1.
6.2. Auswechseln der Sicherung Um die Sicherung auszuwechseln, wie beschrieben verfahren: 1. Prüfleitungen von allen Eingängen des Gerätes abziehen 2. Schutzholster vom Gerät entfernen 3. Schraube des abnehmen Batteriefaches lösen und Batteriefach 4. Batterie entfernen 5. Die 4 Schrauben des Gehäuseunterteiles lösen und Gehäuse öffnen 6. Heben Sie die Platine gerade aus dem Gehäuse heraus, um Zugang zum Sicherungshalter zu erhalten. 7.
6.3. Bedienung des Multi-Kabeltesters für Netzwerkabel Hinweis: Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Batterie über ausreichend Spannung verfügt. Eine erschöpfte Batterie erkennen Sie an nicht korrekt hell leuchtenden LEDs; Messergebnisse werden dann verfälscht. 10 Base-T Test 1. Stecken Sie ein Ende des zu testenden Kabels in die RJ-45 Sendebuchse des Hauptgeräts (markiert mit einem „Symbol“), und das andere Ende des Kabels in die verbleibende RJ-45 Empfangsbuchse. 2. Schalten Sie das Gerät mit dem Einschalter ein.
Überprüfen eines RJ-11 Modularkabels Folgen Sie den Anweisungen für den UTP-/STP-Kabeltest und benutzen Sie für die richtige Zuweisung von LED und Pin das Handbuch. Koaxialkabel-Überprüfung 1. Stecken Sie die beiden mitgelieferten BNC-Adapterkabel in die beiden RJ-45-Buchsen. Schließen Sie dann das zu testende Kabel jeweils an die BNC-Adapterkabelenden an. 2. 5. Operation 5.1. Preliminary Note 1. To check the batteries please switch on the DMM. If the battery is weak, a "BAT" sign will appear on the right of Display. If this does not appear on the display proceed as below. See "Maintenance" if the battery has to be replaced. 2. The warning sign next to the test leads jack is for warning that the input voltage or current should not exceed the indicated values. This is to prevent damage to the internal circuitry. 3.
3. Use extreme caution to avoid contact with high tension circuits when measuring high voltage. 5.3. AC Voltage Measurement 1. Set the function switch to the V position. 2. Press the MODE-button to indicate “AC” on the display. 3. Touch the black test probe tip to the negative side of the circuit. Touch the red test probe tip to the positive side of the circuit. 4. Read the voltage in the display. Note: 1. Caution: Do not apply more than 600 Vrms to the input.
6. Read the current in display. Note: 1. If the current range is not known beforehand, set the FUNCTION switch to the highest range and work down. 2. When only the figure "OL" is displayed overrange is being indicated and the FUNCTION switch must be set at higher range. 3. Caution: The maximum input current is 200 mA. 5.5. Reverse voltage will indicate “OL”. Shorted devices will indicate near 0 V and an open device will indicate “OL” in both polarities.
5.10. Hold Button The Data Hold function allows the meter to “freeze” a measurement for later reference. 1. Press the “DATA HOLD” button to “freeze” the display, the “HOLD” indicator will appear. 2. Press the “DATA HOLD” button to return to normal operation. 5.11. Auto Power off The auto off feature will turn the meter off after 15 minutes.
6. Maintenance Your digital multimeter is a precision electronic devise. Do not tamper with the circuitry. To avoid damage: a) Never connect more than 600 V DC or ACrms b) Never connect a source of voltage with function switch on Ω position and - position. c) Never operate the DMM unless the battery cover is in place and fully closed. d) Battery replacement should only be done after the test leads have been disconnected and power is off. 6.1.

Disconnect the test leads from the meter. Remove the protective rubber holster. Remove the battery cover (two “B” screws) and the battery. Remove the four “A” screws securing the rear cover. Lift the center circuit board straight up from the connectors to gain access to the fuse holders.
1. Switch back and forth from Auto or Manual scanning mode bay pressing the Auto/Manual button on the side of the master-testing unit. 2. Once both ends of the cable are plugged in properly, the second row of LEDs will illuminate according to the corresponding LEDs in the top row. 3. Read the results of the LED display for the pin configuration status of the tested cable.
Remote Test 1. Plug one end of the tested cable to the transmitting RJ-45 jack on the master unit marked with a “symbol” and plug the other end into the remote terminator. If the tested cable is installed in a patch panel or wall plate, you may use the included patch cable to solve the connector gender problem. 2. Now, set the Auto/Manual switch to Auto mode for oneperson testing. 3. Read the test results from the LED display on remote terminator.
