9. 10 A - Input Terminal
For current measurements (AC or DC) up to 10 A when the
rotary selector switch is in the 10 A position.
10. V//Hz-Input Terminal
Continuity, Diode, Ohms, Volt, Frequency terminal.
11. mA Input terminal
For current measurements up to 200 mA DC/AC when the
rotary selector is in the mA position.
12. COM Common Terminal
Return terminal for all measurements.
5. Preparation for Operation
5.1. Using the test leads
Use only the identical type of test leads supplied with your
meter. These test leads are rated for 1200 V.
Cautions!
* Although the replacement probes are rated for 1200 V, the
maximum rating of your meter is 600 V DC/AC
rms
. If you try to
measure voltages above 600 V AC/DC
rms
, you might damage
your meter and expose yourself to a serious shock hazard.
Use extreme care when you measure high voltages.
* Never connect the probe you plug into the COM terminal to a
source of voltage greater than 600 V AC/DC
rms
with respect to
earth/ground. This creates a serious shock hazard.
