5. Measuring
5.1. Relative
The relative measurement feature allows you to make
measurements relative to a stored reference value. A reference
voltage, current, etc. can be stored and measurements made in
comparison to that value. The displayed value is the difference
between the reference and the measured value.
1. Press the "REL" button to store the reading in the display
and the "REL" indicator will appear on the display.
2. The display will now indicate the difference between the
stored value and the measured value.
3. To leave the REL-function, press the REL-key again.
Note:
When your use Relative mode, the actual value of the object
under test must not exceed the full-range reading of the selected
range. Use a higher measurement range if necessary.
5.2. Data Hold
The data hold function allows the meter to "freeze" a
measurement for later reference.
1. Press the "HOLD" button to freeze the display, the "HOLD"
indicator will appear in the display.
2. Press the "HOLD" button to return to normal operation.
