8.3. Display Back-Light
Pressing the - key to toggle turn on or turn off the backlight.
8.4. Using the thermocouple (s)
* Plug the thermocouple(s) into the T1or T2 input connector(s).
* Press to turn on the thermometer. After 1 second the
thermometer displays the first reading. If no thermocouple is
plugged into the selected input or the thermocouple is "open," the
display shows "- - - -".
8.5. Using the IR-Sensor
* Plug the output of IR-Sensor into the T3 (IR input) connector(s) of
PeakTech
®
5045. “T3 - - - -” will show on screen. If the IR-Sensor is
not connected, “T3 - - - -” is not show on the screen.
* Press the “SCAN” button of IR-Sensor, the temperature will show on
the screen.
8.6. Changing Setup Options
Use Setup to change offset, sleep mode settings. The thermometer
stores the settings in its memory.
8.7. Entering or Exiting Setup
When the thermometer is in Setup mode, the display shows SETUP.
Press button for 3 seconds start or exit Setup.
