1. Sicherheitshinweise Dieses Gerät erfüllt die EU-Bestimmungen 2004/108/EG (elektromagnetische Kompatibilität). Zur Betriebssicherheit des Gerätes und zur Vermeidung von schweren Verletzungen durch Stromoder Spannungsüberschläge bzw. Kurzschlüsse sind nachfolgend aufgeführte Sicherheitshinweise zum Betrieb des Gerätes unbedingt zu beachten. Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachtung dieser Hinweise entstehen, sind von Ansprüchen jeglicher Art ausgeschlossen.

5. Ändern der Einstellungsoptionen Verwenden Sie den Setup-Modus für die Auswahl der Kanalform und das Einstellen der Kanalparameter, des Schlafmodus, der Menüeinstellungen für den Max/Min/Avg-Modus und der Speicherlöschung. Das Messgerät speichert diese Einstellungen in seinem Speicher.
5.2.Ändern einer Einstellungsoption 1. Mithilfe der Tasten und können Sie zu der Option blättern, die Sie ändern möchten. 2. Drücken Sie , um anzugeben, dass Sie diese Einstellung ändern möchten. 3. 5.4. Einstellen von Kanalform und Parametern Das Messgerät muss sich im Parameter-Setupmodus befinden. Das Display zeigt den Wert der zuletzt eingegebenen Kanalform und Kanalgröße an. Wenn der zu messende Kanal von dem gespeicherten Kanal abweicht, suchen Sie den richtigen Kanaltyp für die Messung (rechteckig oder rund). 5.5. Auswählen der Kanalform 1. Drücken Sie, wenn sich das Messgerät im Setup-Modus befindet, oder , um zur Einstellungsoption Kanalform (‚Duct Shape‘) zu wechseln. 2.
5.6. Einstellen der Parameter 1. Wenn es sich um einen Rechteckkanal handelt, werden zuerst die Höhe des Kanals und “H=” im Hauptdisplay angezeigt. 2. Drücken Sie die Taste oder , um das Dezimalzeichen auszuwählen. 3. Drücken Sie , um die Position der blinkenden Ziffer zu ändern, und drücken Sie oder , um die blinkende Ziffer von 0 bis 9 einzustellen. 4. Drücken Sie die Taste . 5.7. Abschaltautomatik Das Messgerät wechselt (standardmäßig) in den Schlafmodus. Das heißt, das Messgerät schaltet sich automatisch nach 20 Minuten Inaktivität ab. Wenn das Messgerät im Setup-Modus ist, zeigt das Display SETUP an. Blättern Sie mithilfe der Tasten zur " SLP"-Anzeige. Drücken Sie und zur Einstellung von "ON" (Ein) oder "OFF" (Aus). Drücken Sie gewünschte Einstellung auf dem Display erscheint.

7. Messbetrieb 7.1. Messen von Luftdruck Die im Hauptdisplay angezeigte Zahl ist der Luftdruckwert. Das Gerät misst Über-/Differenzdruck im Bereich von ± 5000Pa und bietet 5 wählbare Maßeinheiten: PSI, mbar, Pa, inH2O, mmH2O. 1. Drücken Sie P/V/F , um zum Luftdruckmodus zu wechseln, und drücken Sie Einheit auszuwählen. , um die 2. Schließen Sie einen Schlauch an den "Input (+)"-Anschluss an und lassen Sie den "Ref (-)"Anschluss unverbunden. MAX MIN P/V/F 3.
7.2.Messen der Geschwindigkeit Das Messgerät verwendet die normalen Umgebungsbedingungen (Temperatur = 21,1 °C/70 °F, barometrischer Druck = 14,7 PSI / 1013 mbar), um sich der aktuellen Luftgeschwindigkeit und Luftmenge anzunähern. Das Hauptdisplay gibt die Luftgeschwindigkeit wieder. Das Gerät misst die Luftgeschwindigkeit und bietet 5 wählbare Maßeinheiten für die Luftgeschwindigkeit: m/s, Fuß/min, km/h, Meile/h, Knoten. 7.3. Messen der Luftmenge 1. Drücken Sie P/V/F , um zum Luftmengenmodus zu wechseln, und drücken Sie dann die Einheit auszuwählen. , um 2. Das Messgerät zeigt die Kanalform und Kanalgröße an. Das Messgerät speichert die zuletzt eingegebene Kanalform und Kanalgröße. Wenn der zu messende Kanal von dem gespeicherten Kanal abweicht, wählen Sie durch Drücken der Taste den richtigen Kanaltyp für die Messung (rechteckig oder rund). 2. Drücken Sie P/V/F , um den Maximal-, Minimal- und Mittelwert der Luftdruck-, Luftgeschwindigkeits- oder Luftmengenmessung sowie den Temperaturwert anzuzeigen. 3. Zum Verlassen des MAX/MIN/AVG-Modus drücken Sie die MAX MIN -Taste für 2 Sekunden. 7.7. Speichern der Messwerte Das Messgerät speichert in seinen drei Hauptmodi zahlreiche Messwerte. Gehen Sie zum Speichern folgendermaßen vor: 1. Drücken Sie bei einer Messung die -Taste, um den Messwert zu speichern.
3. Drücken Sie, sobald alle Messwerte genommen wurden, die Taste , um den Mittelwert aller gespeicherten Messwerte anzuzeigen. 4. Drücken Sie die (RECALL) -Taste für 2 Sekunden, um den Abruf-Modus zu verlassen. Zum Löschen von Messwerten gehen Sie folgendermaßen vor: 1. Drücken Sie P/V/F , um Messwerte des ausgewählten Modus abzurufen. 2. Drücken Sie dann die (RECALL) -Taste für 2 Sekunden, um die Messwerte abzurufen. Wählen Sie mithilfe der Pfeiltasten 3.

Fehlercodes Eine Fehlermeldung wird auf dem Display angezeigt, wenn das Messgerät einen internen Diagnosetest nicht bestanden hat. In diesem Fall werden alle Tasten gesperrt. OL: Luftdruck oder Luftgeschwindigkeit liegen außerhalb des Messbereiches. -OL: Der Luftdruckwert liegt unterhalb des Messbereiches.
Batterien, die Schadstoffe enthalten, sind mit dem Symbol einer durchgekreuzten Mülltonne gekennzeichnet, ähnlich dem Symbol in der Abbildung links. Unter dem Mülltonnensymbol befindet sich die chemische Bezeichnung des Schadstoffes z. B. „CD“ für Cadmium, „Pb“ steht für Blei und „Hg“ für Quecksilber. 5. Changing Setup Options Use Setup to chose duct shape and set the duct parameters .sleep mode, Max/min/avg mode menu setting and clear memory. The thermometer stores the settings in its memory. 5.4. Duct Shape and Parameters Setting When the meter is in parameters setup mode. The screen is show number of the last duct shape and size that is entered. If the duct is different than the stored version, then find the proper duct type for the measurement (rectangular or round). 5.5. Choose Duct Shape 1. 5.7. Auto Power Off Mode The meter enters sleep mode (default). That is to say, the meter will automatically shut off after 20 minutes if no button press occurs for 20 minutes. 7. Operation 7.1. Measuring Pressure The Primary Display number is Pressure value, the device measures Gauge/Differential Pressure ± 5000Pa, it features 5 selectable units of measure: PSI, mbar, Pa, inH2O, mmH2O. 1. Press P/V/F to enter the pressure mode and press to select unit. 2. Connect a single hose to the "Input (+)" port, leaving the "Ref (-)" port unconnected. MAX MIN P/V/F 3. With the tubing open to ambient conditions press the display. and hold for 2 seconds to zero out 4.
7.2. Measuring Velocity The Meter uses standard ambient conditions (temperature =21.1 °C/70 °F, barometric pressure = 14.7 PSI / 1013 mbar), to approximate actual velocity and flow. The primary display number is air velocity, the device measures air velocity, and it features 5 selectable units of velocity measure: m/s, ft/min, km/h, MPH, knots. 1. Press P/V/F to enter Velocity mode and press to select unit. 2. Connect the hoses to the pitot tube to the Meter.
3. When make the measurement, the pitot tube tip should against the measured wind as shown in upper figure, and ensure that the axis of the duct is aligned with the fluid flow for ± 10 °. If Measure Velocity measures negative and show “o Err”on the display, check to make sure that the hoses are attached to the correct ports on the Meter and the pitot. 7.3. Measuring Flow 1. Press P/V/F to enter air flow mode and press to select unit. 2. The Meter shows the duct shape and size.
7.7. Saving Samples The Meter saves various samples in its three major modes. To save a sample, do the following: 1. When taking a sample, press to store the sample. The Meter can save up to 99 samples in each of its three modes. 2. If the memory is full (99 samples have been stored), more samples cannot be stored. If the user attempts to store another sample, the Meter shows "FU" and does not save new readings. 7.8.
To clear individual sample data, do the following: 1. Press P/V/F to recall samples for that mode. 2. Press and 3. Press (RECALL) and hold the button for 2 seconds to recall samples. Use to select the desired sample. to clear the sample. Note that the number of samples displayed is reduced. 4. Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to exit recall mode. Error Codes An error message will appear on the display if the meter fails an internal diagnostic test. And it will freeze all the buttons.
