Congratulations on your purchase of the new VB-2
bass amplifier from Peavey. Are you ready for bass tone? The Peavey
VB-2
all-tube bass amplifier is your one stop spot for fantastic bass tone, no matter what musical styles you play. The
versatile preamp can give you tones ranging from squeaky clean hi-fi to vintage dub to aggressive metal. The VB-2
utilizes
a special, 3-band EQ that gives you the best of passive and active bass tone controls. The Resonance and Presence damping
controls and the 3-way impedance selector enable you to match the VB-2
to almost any bass speaker enclosure. This
instruction guide was written by bass players to help you understand all of the features of the VB-2
and get the most out of
your amp.
Before you begin playing through your amplifier, it is very important to ensure that the product has the proper AC
line voltage supplied. You can find the proper voltage for your amp printed next to the IEC line (power) cord on the
rear panel of the unit. Each product feature is numbered. Refer to the front panel diagram in this manual to locate
the particular features next to its number.
