High Gain Input -
Input for passive basses.
Tip: If you have an aggressive playing style and you use a passive bass, you may find that the LOW
GAIN input will offer more clean headroom.
Low Gain Input -
Input for active basses, attenuated 6dB.
Mute/Tune Switch -
Mutes the output of the DI, the effects loop, and the output of the amp, but still allows you to use the
TUNER jack on the rear of the amp. Mute is indicated by the flashing blue LED to the immediate left of
the MUTE/TUNE switch.
Bright Switch -
Boosts high frequencies above 1 kHz by 10dB for a "crisper" sound.
Channel Switch -
When depressed, this switch activates the overdrive mode of the preamp. This switch must be
depressed for the remote switch to operate.
Clean Gain Control -
Controls the preamp drive when "CLEAN" mode is active, which is indicated by the green LED to the
immediate left of the CLEAN GAIN knob.
Overdrive Gain Control -
Controls the preamp drive when "OVERDRIVE" mode is active, which is indicated by the red LED to the
immediate left of the OVERDRIVE GAIN knob.
Low Control -
Active EQ control that cuts or boosts low frequencies.
Mid Control -
Active EQ control that cuts or boosts middle frequencies.
Mid Shift Switch -
Switches the center frequency of the MID control between 800, 600, 400 and 200 Hz.
