The Boost jack is designed to be used with a 1 button footswitch (Peavey part # 03051000) and toggles the Lead channel gain boost on and off. The Chan/Effects jack is designed to be used with a 2 button footswitch (Peavey part #03330850) and toggles between the Clean and Lead channels, as well as turns on or off all the effects on the amplifier.
