The S200 Series Smart Energy Management System
provides automatic occupancy-oriented operation control
of HVAC units in applications including hotels and resorts,
schools, military lodging, commercial offices, conference
rooms, and more.
By utilizing proven passive infrared (PIR) sensing technology
and intelligent logic control software, the S200 series devices
are able to verify the occupancy status of rooms. If the room
is physically occupied, the system will allow the occupant
to control the HVAC operation as usual. Once the room is
vacant, the system will automatically setback the HVAC to
reduce energy consumption and equipment wear.
The S200 series of occupancy detection products offers
versatility for use in any HVAC application:
