Stair Rail Assembly
With protecve blanket or cardboard sll in place, lay top
rail down with cut-outs facing up.
Install balusters into cut-outs using rubber mallet if
needed.
Install boom rail with cut-outs facing down, line up each
baluster and tap boom rail with rubber mallet unl fully
compressed.
Rack rail to an angle (can be adjusted in nal steps). (2a)
Peel back ends of protecve wrap, do not remove.
Fit Upper brackets on Top and Boom rail with u-brackets
facing up. (2b)
Peel back ends of protecve wrap, do not remove.
Fit Lower brackets on Top and Boom rail with u-brackets
facing down. (2c)
Stair Rail Insllaon
With railing racked, stage between top and boom stair
post, use clamps to secure rail to post with u-bracket or
baluster (2d). At this me, make sure spacing is 36” (for
residenal) from nose of stair tread to top of top rail, and
42” for commercial. Also take this me to adjust angle.
Install u-bracket to post with #8 x 1 1/4” #2 self tapping
screws, (right angle driver may be needed for ght areas).

With #8 x 3/4 self taping screws install brackets, (right an-
gle driver may be needed for ght areas). (2f)
Remove the protecve lm from the top of the top rail.
Cung Stair Rail
Lay down a protecve blanket or cardboard and place
boom rail and top rail next to each other lining up cut
outs.
Use rail marks from 1c and use a speed square to transfer
marks to top rail. Use a pencil to clearly mark “T” for Top
and “B” for Boom rail and a “U” for Upper and “L” for
Lower ends of rail, for reference.
From the Upper mark of Boom rail deduct 2 1/2” -
Lower mark of Boom rail deduct 1 1/2”.
From the Upper mark of Top rail deduct 2 1/2” - Lower
mark of Boom rail deduct 1”
Use chop saw and cut rails according to marks.
