NOTE:
It is recommended to change the device code.
Select a PIN Code Request Mode
A SIM card has only two settings for the PIN code request: On and Off. To ensure that the PTCarPhone is not
switched on automatically when the vehicle is started, the PIN code is requested and the PTCarPhone menu adds
another setting, Automatic. When selected, the SIM card remains secure by a PIN request (setting: On), but enter-
ing the PIN is done automatically by the PTCarPhone.

NOTE:
In cases where the SIM card is replaced or the PIN on the SIM card was changed on another device, the PIN entry
will fail and the phone will ask for a manual PIN entry. The PIN code request mode will then be set automatically
to the default setting On.
