the instrument screen if there is a
fault with the screen or vehicle
electrics. Contact your McLaren
Retailer immediately. Use of the
vehicle in these circumstances can

Normal Powertrain and Handling modes. The
red number in the display indicates the
engine!s maximum RPM.
When Sport or Track Powertrain or Handling
modes are selected, the tachometer style will
change to suite the selected mode. See
Display Window, page 3.32.
NOTE: The maximum RPM is dynamic
and will be reduced under certain
conditions, for example, if the engine oil
is below normal operating temperature
or if neutral gear is selected.
NOTE: Do not operate the engine at or
near its maximum speed for a significant
length of time. The fuel supply is cut off
to protect the engine when the
maximum RPM is reached.
