Depress the release button on the underside
of the lid and lift to open. To close, push the
lid down firmly and ensure that it is latched
securely.
NOTE: When the vehicle is locked or
Valet Mode is on, the stowage
compartment will be locked and the
release button disabled.
WARNING: The stowage compartment
must be closed when items are stored
in it. Occupants could be injured by
objects being thrown around during
sharp braking, a sudden change of
direction or an accident.
The USB and a 3.5 mm auxiliary audio input
sockets are located in the stowage
compartment. See USB sockets, page 4.21.
NOTE: Always close the stowage
compartment when leaving the vehicle,
or the interior motion sensor (if fitted)
will not function.
NOTE: The area behind the seats is not
designed for storing luggage or any
other personal items.
