when the vehicle is stationary. You
may not be able to observe road and
traffic conditions and you could lose
control of the vehicle as a result of
the seat moving. You could therefore
cause an accident.
WARNING: The seats can be moved
even without a key fob in the vehicle.
Do not leave children unattended in
the vehicle, they could be injured if a
seat is moved accidentally.
WARNING: Ensure that no one can
become trapped as the seat moves.
To reduce the risk of injuries in the
event of an accident, observe the
following:
All vehicle occupants must select a
seat position that allows the seat belt
to be worn correctly, but is as far
away from the front air bags as
possible. The position of the driver!s
seat must allow the driver to drive the
vehicle safely. The distance from the
driver!s seat to the pedals must be
such that the driver can fully depress
the pedals. The distance between the
driver!s chest and the center of the air
bag cover must be more than
10 inches (25 centimeters). The
driver!s arms should be slightly bent
when holding the steering wheel.
Vehicle occupants must always wear
their seat belt correctly.
Position the passenger!s seat as far
back as is comfortable.
WARNING: McLaren Automotive does
not recommend the use of child seats
in this vehicle, but if you choose to do
so, please follow the guidelines
below:
Children under 4 ft 5 in (1.35 meters)
tall or younger than 12 years of age
must be secured in a suitable child
restraint.
If you are using a child restraint on
the passenger!s seat, move the seat
as far back as possible.
Manual seats
adjustment
position and release the lever to lock the seat.
WARNING: Ensure the seat is locked
in position before driving.
NOTE: Ensure that there are no items of
luggage in the footwell or behind,
underneath or to the side of the seats.
This may lead to the seats being
damaged.
