Doors

Opening Doors from the Inside

Pull the switch on an interior handle to

open a door.

If a door is locked, unlock it by pulling the

switch once. Pull a second time to open

the door.

Note: To prevent children from using the

interior handles to open the rear doors,

see Child Safety Locks

, page 21.

Note: All electrical unlocking and opening

by the interior door handles is disabled

when the vehicle is in motion.

Door Ajar Warning

Whenever a door is open, the red

Door Ajar warning indicator

(telltale) will be displayed on the

Instrument Cluster.

Any open doors will be displayed on the

vehicle overview image on the

Instrument Cluster, outlined in red.

If the gear is in D (Drive) or R (Reverse),

any opened door will be highlighted red.
