ALARM SEARCH
The Alarm Search page allows you to perform simple alarm-based searches.

To search for alarm-based events:
1. Select the Search icon, and then click Alarm Search. A Search Options screen appears (refer to Figure 41).
2. Set the alarm duration by selecting the date and time from the From and To lists.
3. Type a description in the Event Description box.
4. Click the Show Alarms button. A list of event alarms appears for the specified time frame.

5. Click the “X” on the Search tab to close the Alarm Search screen and return to the Setup page.
ACKNOWLEDGING SERIAL ALARMS
All alarms are acknowledged in Digital Sentry when an acknowledge ASCII string is sent from the access control system. If the Pelco ASCII
command set is used, the acknowledge string is an iA command. The AlarmClear service must be installed.
