• If there is a drawer underneath the device,
without an intermediate bottom, this should
not be used to store highly flammable objects/
materials.
• Never use a pressure cleaner or steam cleaner to
clean the hob.
• The appliance is not intended to be operated by
means of an external timer or separate remote-
control system.
• The manufacturer cannot be held liable for any
damage resulting from failure to follow the safety
instructions and warnings.
Children
• Children may not play with the appliance.
Children may not clean or maintain the appliance
unless supervised.
• Do not store anything of interest to children in
cabinets above or behind the device.
• Children may sustain burns when pulling pots
or pans off the device. A special frame that
stops children from getting close to the device is
available from the specialist dealer.
Decorative cover (if present)
• Always raise the decorative cover when using
the hob. Before lifting the decorative cover, you
should make sure it is dry.
• The decorative cover can break through heating.
Ensure that all burners / cooking zones are
switched off and cooled down before closing the
decorative cover.
• If there is water on the decorative cover, dry it
before opening. If you fail to do so, moisture may
enter the unit.
• Do not use the decorative cover as a cooking
surface.
