The hob can easily be turned back on after it has been turned off. The
time depends on the set cooking setting:

Childproof lock hob
Your hob is fitted with a childproof lock, which you can use to lock the
hob when you are not using it:
• When the hob is switched off (for cleaning the appliance) or to
prevent unintended switching on (by children);
Switching on
• Turn both (middlemost) knobs to the left (while the other knobs
remain in the zero position).
• An “L” appears in the display to show that the childproof lock has
been enabled.
Switching off
• The childproof lock can be disabled in the same way. A “0” appears
in the display after the childproof lock has been disabled.
