Environmental precautions
Avoid release to the environment. Do not allow to enter drains, sewers or
watercourses.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning
up
Sweep spilled substances into containers if appropriate moisten first to prevent
dusting. Use vacuum equipment for collecting spilt materials, where practicable.
Transfer to a lidded container for disposal or recovery. Dispose of contents in
accordance with local, state or national legislation. Wash spill site with water and
detergent.
SECTION 7: HANDLING AND STORAGE
Precautions for safe handling
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, avoid direct contact. See
Section: 8. Avoid breathing dust. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Wash
hands and exposed skin thoroughly after handling. Good hygiene practices and
housekeeping measures. Do not eat, drink or smoke during work. Contaminated
clothing should be thoroughly cleaned.
Conditions for safe storage, including any
incompatibilities
Keep container tightly closed and in a well-ventilated place. Keep away from heat
and direct sunlight. Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs. Keep
out of reach of children.
Storage temperature
Keep in a cool, dry place. Avoid large changes in temperature. Avoid freezing.
Storage life
None.
Incompatible materials
Acids, Alkalis, Oxidizing agents, reducing agents and flammable substances. Do
not allow product to contact moisture during storage.

Appropriate engineering controls
Ensure adequate ventilation. Good hygiene practices and housekeeping
measures. Keep container tightly closed and dry. Store in a cool/low-temperature,
well-ventilated (dry) place. A washing facility/water for eye and skin cleaning
purposes should be present.
Individual protection measures, such as personal
protective equipment (PPE)
Use personal protective equipment as required. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or
clothing. Ensure adequate ventilation. Keep good industrial hygiene.
Contaminated clothing should be thoroughly cleaned. Wash hands and exposed
skin thoroughly after handling.
Protective clothing should be selected specifically for the working place, depending on concentration and quantity of the hazardous substances
handled. The resistance of the protective clothing to chemicals should be ascertained with the respective supplier.
Eye/face protection
Eye Protection: Wear eye protection with side protection (EN166).
Skin protection
Hand protection: Not normally required.
Recommended: Wear impervious gloves (EN374).
Respiratory protection
In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. Respiratory
protective equipment should conform to the appropriate EN standard.
