PIV function
You have to press the shutter button first, and then an icon would display on LCD during the movie
recording. If you fully press the shutter button, the current screen can be stored as a photo without
stopping movie recording. Once an image is captured, an icon
and the number of shots will be kept
on screen. If the number of shots reaches the maximum number of shots, it will turn to red on display and
disallow storing photos further. Please note that the movie recording is still continuing even the camera
icon becomes red. The PIV feature is only applicable to movie size: 720p30 and VGAp30.
• When the movie size is 720p (30fps), the capture photos are saved at 1280 x 720
resolution. The maximum number of shots is 40.
• When the movie size is VGA (30fps), the capture photos are saved at 640 x 480
resolution. The maximum number of shots is 120.
