drinking and cooking.

• Reduces dirt, rust and other particulates such as oxidized iron,
manganese, and suldes.
• NSF/ANSI Standard 53 certied to reduce cysts such as
Cryptosporidium and Giardia by mechanical means.
• Reduces common earthy, moldy, shy tastes and odors.
• Reduces lead to below the Federal Action Level of 15 ppb.
• Reduces particles as small as 0.5 micron in size by
mechanical means.

This system has been tested according to NSF/ANSI 42 and 53
for the reduction of the substances listed below.
The concentration of the indicated substances in water entering
the system was reduced to a concentration less than or equal to
the permissible limit for water leaving the system, as specified
in NSF/ANSI 42 and 53.
OPERATING SPECIFICATIONS

• Pressure Requirement: 10-125 psi (0.7 - 8.6 bar), non-shock
• Temperature: 35-100°F (2°-38°C)

GENERAL INSTALLATION/OPERATION/MAINTENANCE
REQUIREMENTS
• Space required: 5 x 5 x 15 in. (13 x 13 x 38 cm) including
2½ inches of clear space under unit for cartridge change.
• Install vertically with cartridge hanging down.
• Use minimum length of tubing possible.
• Flush new cartridge at full ow for three minutes to purge air.
• Replace cartridges when capacity is reached, or when flow
becomes too slow, but at least annually.
SPECIAL NOTICES
• Installation instructions, parts and service availability,
and standard warranty are included with the product.
• This drinking water system must be maintained according to
manufacturer’s instructions, including replacement of filter
cartridges. Suggested retail $100.99.
• Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of
unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after
the system. Systems certied for cyst reduction may be used on
disinfected waters that may contain lterable cysts.
• The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this
water treatment system are not necessarily in your water.
• Check for compliance with state and local laws and regulations.
• Tested under standard laboratory conditions, actual performance
may vary.
• Spent adsorption media will not be regenerated and used.
• If adsorption media is aected by chlorine, water supply should be
treated to remove chlorine prior to entering filter.
