IMPORTANT INFORMATION • • • • Pentair® is not liable for damages due to improper installation. Filter is only to be used with cold water. Never use this system on constant-pressure applications such as ice makers or drinking fountains. If the faucet diverter valve does not fit, you will need to install one of the faucet adapters before attaching it. The brass faucet adapters can be tightened using the install tool.
ATTACH HOSES TO FILTER Figure 3 Turn the filter around and attach color-coded (blue and white) connectors to the bottom of the countertop filter. ACTIVATE BATTERY Figure 4 Remove cover from filter and pull the plastic tab from the battery to activate filter timer. FLUSH FILTER Figure 5 Turn the diverter valve up and flush filter with cold water for 10 minutes. Faucet Filter Notice For the first 72 hours, the faucet diverter valve may drip intermittently, until the filters become fully saturated.
