1. Introduction
The camera
channels can manually selected, they can be automatically displayed in
sequence if the scan modeis selected, or they can beobserved simultaneously
inquad-splitscreenmode.
It is possible to
store the recordings in a ring format so that the oldest recordings will be
automatically overwritten when the card is full. The recordings can be viewed
directlyonthemonitororusingaPC.
2. Properuse
ThewirelesscamerasetconsistsofthecameraDF270Kandmonitor 27 with
twomainsadaptors.
It is to be used for the surveillance of rooms, entrance hallways, driveways etc.
through video pictures and sound. The video and audio transmission is wireless
usingafrequencyof2.4GHz.
The power is supplied through the supplied mains adapters connected to a
230VAC, 50Hz mainssupply. Themonitor containsa rechargable lithiumbattery
whichis automatically recharged whenever themonitoris placed into the docking
station.Thebatterycanpowerthemonitorforuptotwohoursportableoperation.
If there is sufficient lighta colourpicture willbe transmitted.At low ambientlight
levels the integrated Infrared LEDs areautomatically switchedon. In thiscase the
immediatearea (max. 10m) will beilluminatedand thevideopicture switches to
black and white mode for improved light sensitivity. The picture quality is
optimisedfor day and night opereation byaninternalmechanical filter change. If
the surveillance is specifically required in a dark environment, then additional
lightingshouldbeinstalled.
Up to four wireless cameras DF270K can be used with one monitor.
The wireless transmission is digital and on constantly changing frequencies
(frequency hopping) which are synchronised between the camera and the
monitor. Only the receiver which has been "paired" with the camera can receive
the synchronised signals. This security feature prevents access of the camera
signalbythirdparties.
The camera is weatherproof (Protection class IP66) and can be used not only
indoors but also for mounting outside. Wherever possible it should be protected
from direct rainfall. The monitorand both mains adapters arefor indoor use only
andmustbeprotectedfrommoisture.
Video and audio can be recorded onto an micro SDHC card (max. 32 GB, not
included) through the monitor. The recording can be started manually, using a
schedule, or automatically through a motion detection software.
The set is for use in private households. A video surveillance system does not
replaceyourdutyofcare or supervision. Observe the regulations concerning video
surveillanceincommercialandpublicareas.
