Operatinginstructions
1. Introduction
Read through these operating instructions fully and carefully. The operating
instructions belong to this product and contain important points concerning
bringing the appliance into service and its operation. Always pay attention to all
safety instructions. Should you have any questions or be unsure about operating
the appliance ask a specialist. Keep these instructions in a safe place and should
theneedarisepassthemontoathirdparty.
It is to be used for the surveillance of rooms, entrance hallways, driveways etc.
through video pictures and sound. The video and audio transmission is wireless
usingafrequencyof2.4GHz.
The power is supplied through the supplied mains adapters connected to a
230VAC,50Hzmainssupply.
If there is sufficient lightacolour picture will betransmitted. At low ambientlight
levels the integrated Infrared LEDs areautomatically switchedon. Inthis casethe
immediatearea (max. 14m)will be illuminatedandthe video pictureswitchesto
black and white mode for improved light sensitivity. The picture quality is
optimised for day and night operationby an internal mechanical filter change. If
the surveillance is specifically required in a dark environment, then additional
lightingshouldbeinstalled.
The
camera channels can be manually selected or automatically displayed in
sequenceifthescan mode is selected.
The wireless transmission is digital and on constantly changing frequencies
(frequency hopping) which are synchronised between the camera and the smart
recorder. Only the smart recorder which has been "paired" with the camera can
receivethesynchronisedsignals.Thissecurityfeaturepreventsaccessofthecamera
signalbythirdparties.
The cameras are weatherproof (Protection class IP66) and can be used not only
indoorsbutalsoformountingoutside.Whereverpossibletheyshouldbeprotected
from direct rainfall.The smart recorderand the mainsadapters are forindoor use
onlyandmustbeprotectedfrommoisture.
Therecordingcanbestartedmanually,
using a schedule, or automatically through a motion detection software.
Thebuilt-inrealtimeclockand
calend risusedfortheeventlogandforscheduledrecordings.
TheDF400SetconsistsofthesmartrecorderDF400RandtwocamerasDF400K
eachwithamainsadapter.
Images from upto four wirelesscameras DF400Kcan be receivedby the smart
recorder DF400R. Additional cameras DF400K are available as accessories.
The images can ve viewed on a monitor (not included) connected with HDMI
cable. The settings can be made in the on-screen menu using a mouse.
Theycan also be viewed atthe sametime
onasplitscreen(varioussplitformatspossible).
VideoandsoundcanberecordedontomicroSDHCcard,USBstickorexternalhard
drivewithmainsadapter(noneincluded).
It is
possibletostoretherecordingsinaringformatsothattheoldestrecordingswill
beautomaticallyoverwrittenwhenthecardisfull.
