If required inserta suitablereadable Class 10microSD card (microSDHC,
max.32GB quality brand card recommended) inthe slot [4].If the cardis
not formatted, then format it before the first usage (see chapter 12.3:
“Storageformat”).
Connect the DC-plug of the mains adapter (31) with the mains adapter
connection[7]onthesmartrecorder.
Connectthemainsadapterwithasuitablemainssocket..
To avoid damage connect storage devices only when the smart recorder is
switchedoff.
Tooperatethesystemturnonthesmartrecorderusingtheon/offswitch(2).

Thesmartrecordercanbeswitchedoffusingtheon/offswitch.
Callupthetaskbar[37]witharightmouseclick.

and2.Whenacameraisconnectedwiththesmartrecorderthe connection LED
on the camera (3) and on the screen will light. The connection quality is
indicatedwithuptofourbarsontheindicator(39).

ThedefaultlanguageisGerman.Tochangethelanguagedothefollowing:
Clickon / / andchoosethelanguagedesired.
Closethetaskbarwithrightmouseclicks.
After switching on themonitor orafter leaving the screen menuthe live picture
from the activated cameras will be displayed in : initially the
two cameras left and right, otherwise in the display format selected in the
menu.
After approx. 2 minutes without any mouse click the system will switch to
.Thepassivemodeisendedbyamouseclick.
If selected in the menu that the screen should switch to
after5 / 10minutes,then after afurther3 or 8minutes respectively(5
or 10 minutes after the last mouse click) the screen will switch off. The screen
will automaticallyswitch on after amouse click, a detectedmotion orthe start
ofscheduledrecording.
Inactivemodethecurrentcameraismarkedwithared„V“symbol[35].
During display of live images only the audio from the current camera can be
heard.
Toselectanothercameraascurrentcameraclickonthedesiredimage.
By repeatedly clicking on the current camera image the display changes
betweenfullscreenofthecurrentcameraandthepreselecteddisplay.
Callupthetaskbar[37]witharightmouseclick.
Selectandchangesettingswithaleftmouseclick.
Go back onestep orclose the task bar witha right mouseclick. If asetting
hasbeenchangedthen the screen will show „Storing data,please wait...“
forafewseconds.

indicated by a red „V“ symbol [35] can be heard. To select another camera as current camera, make a left click on this image. Repeated clicks change
