Change Shutter Speed Select the capture mode that suits the subject and shooting conditions. The following capture modes are available on this camera. Setting the Exposure Control Method A1 In [Program Line] of the A1 menu, you can specify how the exposure is controlled. Auto Determines the appropriate settings. B Standard Sets to the basic program automatic exposure (all-around mode). C Hi-speed Priority Prioritizes high shutter speeds. D DOF Priority (Deep) Closes the aperture for a deep depth of field. E DOF Opens the aperture for a shallow depth of Priority field.

Using a Microphone or Headphones 3 Microphone terminal Shooting You can reduce the possibility of recording camera operation sounds by connecting a commercially available stereo microphone to the microphone terminal on the camera. The following specifications are Headphone terminal recommended for external microphones.
