If this occurs, rest the flash unit so that the temperature of the batteries returns to normal. • The blinking low battery indicator shown in the illustration appears on the LCD panel when the batteries are exhausted. Replace all the four batteries with new ones.

Doing so creates softer light and shadows to make the picture look more natural. Bouncing the flash will decrease the flash intensity by the time it reaches the subject. Therefore, this function is effective when photographing in P-TTL mode at short distances.
