Taking Pictures

You can select the Picture mode according to the shooting scene.
• Picture Mode
There are nine available modes in Picture mode.
1 Press the four-way controller (3) in Capture Mode.
The virtual mode dial appears.
2 Use the four-way controller (45) to
display the Picture mode (
H) at the
top of the dial.
The default setting is (H).
The Picture mode dial appears.
3 Press the four-way controller (3) to
select the desired mode.

select the icon for the desired picture
mode at the top of the dial.
5 Press the OK button.
The Picture mode is selected.
6 Press the shutter release button.
The picture is taken.

Shooting Scene (Picture mode)
H Landscape Enables to take landscape photos with bright colors.
I Flower Enables to take flower photos bright in color.
J Portrait
Enables to take portraits with spatial effect, by emphasizing the person.
M Self-Portrait
Enables you to take pictures of yourself or to be included in pictures.
L Surf & Snow
Enables to take clear photos at dazzling places like beaches
and snow covered mountains.
N Autumn Colors Enables you to take colorful photos of trees in autumn.
K Sunset
Enables to reproduce beautiful colors for sunrise and sunset photos.
In Picture mode, the EV compensation, saturation, contrast, sharpness and white
balance are automatically set to their default settings. You can change the settings.
