Playback/Erasing/Editing
Playing Back Images
See “Playing Back Images” (p.24), or “Playing Back Previous or Next
Images” (p.24).
You can display images magnified up to a maximum of 4 times. A guide
to operation is displayed on the LCD monitor during magnification. (The
magnification varies depending on the number of recorded pixels.)
1 Enter the Playback mode and choose the image you
want to magnify with the four-way controller (
45).
2 Press x/y on the Zoom/f/y
button.
The image will be magnified (1× to 4×). If
you keep pressing (
x), the magnification of
image will be changed continuously.
• The following operations can be
performed while the magnified image is
displayed.
Four-way controller (
2345) : Moves the position to be magnified
Zoom/
f/ybutton (x) : Makes the image larger
Zoom/
f/ybutton (w) : Makes the image smaller
Display button : Turns the guide marks on/off
3 Press the MENU button.
Zoom playback will end.
Playing Back Still Pictures

• The movie pictures cannot be magnified.
• If the camera is turned on in Playback Only mode, pressing the
Playback button will not change the mode to Capture mode. Turn
the camera off and then turn it on again.
