Settings
1 Align the mode dial with one of the
following; d , R , + , . , H , =.
2 Press the 0 button in Capture
mode.
The functions registered on the four-way
controller (2345) appear.
3 Use the four-way controller
(2345) to choose the registered function and
change the setting.
Pressing the DISPLAY button when EV Compensation is registered on
the four-way controller displays a histogram showing the EV setting.

When White Balance is registered and you select K (manual), press
the OK button to adjust the white balance. (1p.74)
4 Press the 0 button or the shutter release button.
The setting is saved and the camera is ready to take pictures.
• EV Compensation (+) and (–) must be registered as a pair, with (+) on
2 and (–) on 3, or (–) on 4 and (+) on 5. It is not possible to register
only EV Compensation (+) or (–), or to reverse the plus/minus
functions.
• Functions cannot be registered in - (Auto Select) mode.
Retrieving a Function
• You cannot access functions by pressing the 0 button in - (Auto
Select) mode, O (Voice Recording) or C (Movie).
• Pressing the 0 button in - (Auto Select Mode) displays the Help
