2 Certificates and approvals
2.1 Declaration of Conformity (RE Directive 2014/53/EU)
This product was developed and manufactured under observance of the applicable European
standards and guidelines.
The product manufacturer, Pepperl+Fuchs SE, 68307 Mannheim, has a certified quality assur-
ance system that conforms to ISO 9001.
2.2 FCC-Information
Note:
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device,
pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protec-
tion against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environ-
ment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not
installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference
to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause
harmful interference in which case the user will be required to correct the interference at his
own expense.
FCC Notice
To comply with FCC part 15 rules in the United States, the system must be professionally
installed to ensure compliance with the Part 15 certification. It is the responsibility of the opera-
tor and professional installer to ensure that only certified systems are deployed in the United
States. The use of the system in any other combination (such as co-located antennas transmit-
ting the same information) is expressly forbidden.
FCC Exposure Information
To comply with FCC RF exposure compliance requirements, the antennas used for this trans-
mitter must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least 35 cm from all persons and
must not be co-located or operated in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
