1. ADJUSTING THE SPLITTER
The splitter has two positions: storage position
and working position.
1.1 The splitter is in the storage position when
you take it out of the package (See Fig. D1)
1.2 To place the splitter in the working position
1) Remove the screw by rotating it in counter
clockwise direction with a screwdriver (not
supplied). (See Fig. D2)
2) Remove the blade throat plate (See Fig. D3).
3) Raise the blade up to the highest position
by turning the blade control wheel
counterclockwise. Set the bevel at 0°. Make
sure the bevel is locked tight (See Fig. D4).
4) Release the splitter locking lever by pulling
the lever up. Pull the splitter up to the
working position (See Fig. D5).
5) The two working position holes should align
6) Lock the splitter by pushing the splitter
locking lever down (See Fig. D6).
NOTE: Make sure the splitter is locked
securely.
