1.3 TO ADJUST THE HEIGHT AND
ALIGNMENT OF THE SPLITTER
1) Loosen the two screws (a) with hex key (not
supplied) (See Fig. D7).
 
sure the splitter is about 1/8” (3 mm) above
the blade tips (See Fig. D8).
3) The splitter must be precisely in LINE with
the saw blade. Align the splitter with the saw
blade. Once aligned, hold the splitter (See
Fig. D9).
4) Tighten the two screws again.
NOTE: Place the blade throat plate back on.
2. INSTALLING THE ANTI-KICKBACK
PAWLS (SEE FIG. E).
NOTE: The splitter needs to be in working
position to install the anti-kickback pawl
assembly.
1) Raise the blade to the highest position and set
bevel at 0°. Make sure the bevel is locked tight.
2) Depress the plastic cap on the lock pin in the
direction shown on Fig. E1. And rotate the lever
downwards, and make sure the lock pin fully
engages the slot (See Fig E1). Place the anti-
kickback pawl assembly over the “keyhole” slot
on the splitter.
3) Release the plastic cap to secure assembly.
Make sure there is no movement in the anti-
kickback pawl assembly. (See Fig E2)
3. INSTALLING THE BLADE GUARD
1) There are two inner locking pins (b,c) on the
blade guard (See Fig. F1).
2) Position the two inner locking pins of the
blade guard over the two slots on the splitter
so that inner locking pins engage the slots
completely (See Fig. F2).
3) Press the side button of blade guard to lock

