User Guide

If you receive multiple Low Battery warnings, there are a few things you can try to resolve the
issue:
1. We recommend that you run your device on A/C Power, so if you don't already have your
SmartFeeder plugged in, doing so may resolve the issue.
2. If your SmartFeeder is plugged in, check to see if your bowl is securely installed in the
SmartFeeder body (i.e. pushed all the way into the feeder base).
3. Check to see if the USB Cable is securely plugged into the feeder body.
4. If you still get the Low Battery warning after running through these checks, please
contact our Customer Support Team at support@petnet.io or at (855) 738-4650.
I NEED HELP CONNECTING MY ROUTER TO MY SMARTFEEDER.
1. Double check your network name and password. The connection process is case
sensitive.
2. Take a look at your WiFi settings. Make sure that you are not operating on a 5GHz
network. The SmartFeeder operates under the standard 2.4Ghz.
3. Please check to see if you have any firewalls activated.
4. Look for your DHCP settings on your router. Check that the TCP 31314 port is open.
5. If you have tried these steps and you still are experiencing trouble connecting your
SmartFeeder and Router please contact Customer Support.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY SMARTFEEDER WILL NOT STOP DISPENSING
FOOD?
1. First, push the Manual Feed button - this will cancel a feed that’s in progress.
2. If that does not stop the feeder from dispensing, pull the bowl out of the feeder body -
that will disconnect the SmartFeeder and cancel a feed that is in progress.
3. Once the feeder has stopped dispensing food, check that the USB cable is securely
plugged in.
4. Reinsert the bowl into the feeder and try dispensing another feeding.
5. If the issue occurs again, please contact our Customer Support Team at
support@petnet.io or at (855) 738-4650
