Problem Possible cause Solution
The milk is not
sucked up.
Not enough steam is

Perform a rinse cycle as described on
page 25.
Wait until the start/stop button (16) illumi-
nates in green and try again

Clean the steam nozzle (see page 37).
The milk froth
sprays inten-

The steam nozzle has
not be screwed in
properly.
Allow the machine to cool off and then
screw the steam nozzle firmly into place.
The milk is too warm. Only use cold milk right out of the refrige-
rator.
The milk frother has not
been properly assem-
bled.
Assemble all parts as described on page
23.
There is not
enough froth
in the frothed
milk.

Let the machine cool off and then screw
the steam nozzle firmly into place.

page 23. In the process, make sure that
the air duct in the tube adapter is free.
A tube adapter with a damaged air duct
must be replaced.
