Housing: Water is pumped up through the Housing to cycle through the Charcoal Filter and out the spout to create a waterfall into the Bowl. Housing Lid: The Housing Lid snaps in place over the Housing, keeping pets out of the Charcoal Filter.

As with any electrical device, check the electrical power cord for any tears or damage before use. 2. Make sure the In-Line Plug is connected. IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ BE-FORE OPERATIN·G;! Congratulations on your new PetSafe® Pet Fountain! Before using, please take the following steps to ensure your fountain is functioning properly. • As with any new electrical appliance, check the power cord prior to use for any cuts, tears, or other potential damage. • Please read the fountain's Instruction Manual entirely prior to use. • Place the fountain on a protective mat or other durable, water resistant surface to test the fountain.
Attention! The Motor Must be Cleaned for Normal Operation The most common questions we receive are regarding noise and pump performance. There are two variables which contribute to the noise level and pump performance. 1) DO NOT RUN DRY, fill your fountain regularly, and do not let the water level fall below the bottom of the "Flow Control Knob" or the pump will become noisier and possibly break down.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS #1 Supervision of your pet's usage should be exercised for the first few weeks of use. If your pet is prone to chewing, we suggest that you consider purchasing a cord cover from your local hardware store. #2 As with any electrical device, always check the power cord for damage before use. #3 When using this product, be sure to place the fountain on a protective surface to guard floor against possible water damage from spillage.
