VISIBILITY
WIPER CONTROL STALK
System for the selection and control of
the various windscreen wiping modes
permitting the dispersal of rain and
cleaning.
The vehicle's windscreen wipers are
designed to gradually improve the driv-
er's visibility in relation to the weather
conditions.
Manual controls
The wipers are controlled directly by the
driver using stalk A .
fast (heavy rain),
normal (moderate rain),
intermittent (in proportion to
the speed of the vehicle),
off,
single wipe (press down-
wards).

A. wiping speed selection control:
Windscreen and headlamp
wash
 Pull the windscreen wiper stalk to-
wards you. The screenwash then
the wipers operate for a fi xed pe-
riod.
The headlamp wash is only activated if
the dipped headlamps are on and the
vehicle is moving .
With daytime running lamps, to
activate the headlamp wash, posi-
tion the lighting stalk in the dipped
beam position.
On vehicles fi tted with digital air
conditioning, any action on the
windscreen wash control results in
temporary closing of the air intake
to avoid odours inside the passen-
ger compartment.
Automatic wiping is not available
on the 207CC at present.
