Darning without

You
will

you
darn
tubular
clothing,
such
as
underpants,
sleeves,
socks
or
stockings
without
darning
hoops.

Trim
ragged edges
of hole
with
the
fabric
grain,
then
stitch
bock
and
forth
across
the
hale
from
one
side
to
the
other
with
the
machine running at
high
speed.

Now
sew
back
and
forth
over
preceding
work
with
short
stitches
taken
length-
wise
of
the
arm.
This
onchors
threads
in
the
unworn area
around
the
hole.
Always
hold
fabric
taut.
