Operation Manual
Darning
with
elastic
stitch
Program
03
The
elastic
stitch
is
very
suitable
for
repairing
holes,
tears
and
damaged
areas.
Depending
on
the
size
of
the
damaged
area,
sew
over
this
area
with
rows
of
elastic
stitches
until
it
is
well
covered.
When
doing
so,
make
sure
that
the
stitch
rows
overlap
each
other.
When
mending
tears,
frayed
edges
or
small
holes,
it
is
advisable
to
lay
a
piece
of
fabric
of
the same
J
color
which
is
slightly
larger
than
the damaged
area
on
the
wrong
side
of
the
material.This
piece
of
fabric
strengthens
the
material
and
guarantees
a
perfect
darn.
Overstitch
the
damaged
area
as
j
described
above
and
cut
back
the
piece
of
fabric
on
the
wrong
side
as
far
as
possible.
