Changing
the
needle
plate
3
• Switch
off the
master switch.
•
Raise the
sewing
foot
lifter.
• Pull
the needle
plate
upwards
at
the
back
and
j
remove
it.
Replacement

•
Lay the
back
of the
needle plate
down
flat
and
push
it down
at
the front
until
you hear
it
snap
j
into place.
Before
you start
sewing,
check
that
the needle
plate
is lying
flat.

Cleaning
and
lubricating
•
Switch off
the
master
switch.
•
Remove
the
needle
plate and
lower
the feed
dog.
•
Clean
the feed
dog
and hook
area
with
the
brush.
• Apply
one
drop
of oil only
to the
hook
as
shown
above.
The
machine
is otherwise
main
tenance
free and
must
not be
oiled in
other
places.
•
Clean
and
oil
the sewing
machine
every 10
to
15 hours
of
operation.
Cleaning
the
display
When
needed,
clean
the display.
using
a dry, soft,
lint-free
cloth.
Do not
use
chemical
cleaners
or
solvents!
