The

skips
stitches

is

been
inserted.
Needle
is
bent
or
blunt.
Machine

not
properly
threaded.

too
small
for
the
thread.

in

it
has
become
dry
after

long

thick

too

Needle
is
bent
and
hits
the
needle
plate
because

The
bobbin
case
is
not
properly
inserted.

Seam
is
sewn
unevenly
The
tension
needs
adjusting.

Thread
is
too
thick,
slubbed
or
hard.
The
bobbin
thread
is
unevenly
wound.
Thread
loops
above
or
below
the
stitch

Machine
binds
Loose
threads
in
the
hook

Removal:
Push
needle
fully
upwards.

the
back.

needle

new

Remove
needle
plate,
remove
lint
with
brush.
Push
slide
C
(see
page
37)
to
the
left.
Remove
loose
thread
and
apply
one
drop
of
oil
to
the
hook.

Machine
does
not
sew
the
entered
program
Switch
off
the
machine
and
back
on
again
after
about
10
seconds.
Enter
desired
program
again.
Important
notes:
Before
changing
the
sewing
feet
or
needles,
you
must
switch
off
the
master
switch.
Do
not
start
the
threaded
machine
without
fabric
in
it.
‘-
If
you
leave
the
machine,
even
for
a
short
time,
do
not
forget
to
switch
off
the
master
switch.
This
is
especially
important
when
children
are
nearby.
