Plug the mains
cord
into
the foot pedal and switch
the machine
on at the on/off switch.
Open the
swivel arm, followed by the hook flap and
then lower the feed dog
(see
7570
page 37).

Take
care
that the
swivel arm is not
swung
too
far
to
the rear. Otherwise the
embroidery unit could be
pushed out
of its connection bushing.
The maximum angle
of the swivel arm
should
not
exceed
90°

Slide an embroidery-pattern memory
card
into the
slot in the base plate.
The card is to be pushed into
the slot as far as it
will
go.
The release button
springs out
approx. 1/2 cm when the card is
inserted
properly.
To remove the memory card push the release
button next to the slot.
