accelerometer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxpdtzvjzoQ
A calibration of the Gyrometer is necessary for the exact determination of the orientation of the camera in the
Pilotfly-Gimbal. Though the sensors are calibrated before delivery, however, sometimes you must perform a
calibration of the Gyrometer. The Gyrometer measures the rotations of your camera in the Gimbal. With the
software, a calibration is possible as shown below.
1. Press the button „Calibrate IMU sensors“
within the register tab „Hardware“.
2. Take care, that the Gimbal stands stable and
without any vibrations. The orientation of the
camera isn’t important.
3. The display of the Gyroscope should be
ideally within the green range.

4. Press the button „RESET“ an then the button
„CALIBRATE“ within the function block
„Gyroscope“ as shown in figure 21.
5. During the calibrating process your can hear
an acoustic signal and you see a beam
display to 100% in the window.
6. The calibrating process needs a few seconds.
The beam display disappears after reaching
the 100 % and the acoustic signal is finished
if the Gyrometer is final calibrated.
