When Remote Access is deactivated, you
can activate it from an external call by
allowing the telephone to ring 10 times.
The answering machine picks up
automatically and sounds a beep. After
the beep, press # key and enter the
remote access code (PIN) to activate
remote access.
12.6.3 Handset Screening
When Handset call screening is set to
On, you can press o Screen to start
call screening for incoming messages. If
you decide to pick up the call, press t.
Once you pick up, the recording will stop
automatically.
If you have multiple handsets, only one
handset can enable handset call screening
for each call.
1 Press the m key in idle mode,
scroll n to Answer Machine, and
press o Select.
2 Scroll n to Settings and press
o Select. Then, scroll n to HS
Screening and press o Select.
3 Scroll n to select On or Off and
press o Select.
• A validation tone is emitted and
the screen returns to previous
menu.
12.6.4 Setting the Outgoing
Message Language
The language of the default outgoing
messages is originally set to English.
However you can change the language of
the default outgoing messages as follows.
1 Press the m key in idle mode,
scroll n to Answer Machine, and
press o Select.
2 Scroll n to Settings and press
o Select. Then, scroll n to
Voice Language and press o
Select.
3 Scroll n to select the language and
press o Select.
